Our Wedding
The ceremony and reception are both at the Grand Ballroom in Essexville, Michigan. The ceremony will begin about 2:00 and the reception will follow at 4:00. There is a buffet, open bar, and of course, lots of dancing and enjoyment for all.
Travel Arrangements
For those of you traveling, the closest airport is MBS (Tri-Cities), followed by Flint or Detroit. We recommend Fairview Suites by Marriot located on Wilder Rd (in the parking lot of Bay City Mall), or the Holiday Inn Express, on Wilder, across the street from Meijer. We also will be fishing and boating for a few days before and a few days after. And those of you who have not experienced Bay City's 3-day Fourth of July festivities, we highly recommend coming early enough to enjoy fireworks, the midway, live music and more. AND our wedding also falls on Cornfest weekend in nearby Auburn and also, I suspect, St. Stan's Polish Festival. What more could you ask for -- polkas, bbq, corn, rides, live animals.....
A Special Message From Us
As you may know, this is the third time around for both of us! We would love it if you would either contribute to our home remodel with items at Lowe's (who no longer maintains a registry) so that we can complete our kitchen, upstairs bathroom, yard, and finish off the basement (not to mention endless more nights of painting!). Or, if you wish, contribute to our honeymoon! You can access our honeymoon registry on this site. We are waiting to take our honeymoon until this fall when both of our businesses slow down. We have 3 days and 2 nights in Costa Rica (compliments of a drawing) and then will spend 5 days and nights in Saint Lucia in the Caribbean. Immediately after the wedding, we are going to enjoy having all FIVE of the kids in town (Morgan, Kayla, Zachariah, Hannah, and Amanda!) as well as other family and friends in from out of town and will attend Phil's class reunion in Albuquerque with kids in tow. This will be a short but sweet full family vacation and we totally look forward to it. Thank you all for your love and suport and we hope you will make it to the Grand for a grand time on July 10th.
